About Us

National Center for Civic Empowerment, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Boston, Massachusetts, dedicated to strengthening democracy through nonpartisan civic engagement, voter education, and voter registration efforts. Our work focuses on empowering individuals and communities with accurate, accessible information about the civic process so they can participate confidently and responsibly in democratic life.

We participate in national, nonpartisan initiatives that promote civic awareness and engagement, including National Voter Registration Day and National Voter Education Week. Through these initiatives, we provide voter education and registration opportunities that align with the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) and other applicable federal and state laws. Our educational efforts emphasize voter rights, registration processes, and participation timelines without supporting or opposing any political party, candidate, or ballot measure. Our role is to help community members understand where and how to access reliable information so they can make informed decisions independently.

The National Center for Civic Empowerment, Inc. also supports volunteer engagement, mentorship, and leadership development by providing structured opportunities for individuals to participate in civic education efforts. Volunteers gain experience in community outreach, public education, and civic responsibility while developing transferable leadership and communication skills. These experiences are designed to encourage long-term civic participation and community involvement.

Our mission is rooted in the belief that a well-informed and engaged public is essential to a strong, just, and equitable society.
